BBQ TEAM
My family bbq competition team is Whole Lotta Smokin’ & The Smokette. We have enjoyed entering bbq competitions for about 15 years. We mostly enter contests which require that a competitor enter the following four categories: brisket, pork butt, ribs and chicken. Also, we usually enter our salsa, desserts and the miscellaneous category.

MY FAMILY & EDUCATION
My wonderful husband, J.B., and I have been married for over 20 years, have a beautiful son Joseph. We have enjoyed living in Fort Collins and Windsor for more than 20 years. In 1993, I graduated from University of Northern Colorado in Greeley with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. My family loves to spend time together at our son’s activities, play basketball, board games, participate in competition bbq, camp, fly fish and golf.
GIVING BACK
My family loves beautiful Northern Colorado and I believe that I have a responsibility to give back to the communities I serve. I participate in various fundraisers/service projects throughout the year.
As the founder and former president of the MOMS Club® of Windsor Area for two and a half years, Club members raised and donated in excess of $10,000 and other gifts to Habitat for Humanity, Susan G. Komen For the Cure, families in need, the Optimist Club and many more worthy causes. I am very proud to have helped create a cookbook for charity as shown in the above picture.
